PRODUCT INFORMATION Our newly developed Hard Rock Liner gives a new dimension to car design and provides a real "Wow!" effect: the rugged, rough look is not only a real head-turner, but also offers tremendous protection against damage and external elements. And here's the best part: thanks to the removable primer, the applied film layer can be peeled off at any time without any additional means. Aggressive look? Extremely robust, scratch-resistant, highly chemical and temperature resistant, removable - in combination with the FOLIATEC.com Hard Rock Liner base coat. The set includes: 2.5 liters HARD ROCK RACK BASE 2 liters HARD ROCK LINER 0.5 L HARD ROCK HARDENER one HARD RACK SPRAY GUN + EMPTY BOTTLE APPLICATION Remove all easily removable car parts. Mask off all surfaces that should not be coated. Mask off rubber seals with FOLIATEC.com Easy Up Tape (item no. 79920). You should also protect wheel wells and the underside of the vehicle from overspray. Clean and dry the surface to be sprayed, including edges, then degrease using FOLIATEC.com Carbody Spray Film (item no. 79934). After cleaning, remove any remaining dust with a duster. Applying Hard Rock Liner Basecoat with the FOLIATEC.com DIY Spray System: Apply Hard Rock Liner Basecoat in 2 generous coats. Work at a medium pace on level 2 and set the quantity control on the spray gun handle to level III or IIII. Applying with a spray gun: Apply Hard Rock Liner Basecoat in 2 generous coats at a medium pace. Use a 2.0 mm spray nozzle at a pressure of 2–3 bar in a suitable spray booth. Flash dry for 30 minutes after the first coat. Note: It can be topcoated with Hard Rock Liner once completely dry (after 4–5 hours at 20°C depending on the thickness of the coats). Preparing Hard Rock Liner: Shake the hardener thoroughly into the Hard Rock Liner for approximately 2 minutes. Fill the spray gun bottle, push in the cap, break the seal, and screw the spray gun onto the bottle. Applying Hard Rock Liner with the FOLIATEC.com Hard Rock Liner Spray Gun: Apply the Hard Rock Liner at a slow pace and a pressure of 2.5–3 bar until approximately 50% coverage is achieved. After approximately 60 minutes, a second coat should be applied for 100% coverage. Note: After 60 minutes, the Hard Rock Liner is powder-dry and should be left to cure for approximately 24 hours at a constant temperature. For further instructions, please read the APPLICATION sheet.
