A key element of every lighting product is its light source. OSRAM Opto Semiconductors diodes provide the best performance for a watt of power while maintaining optimal thermal properties. High repeatability of manufactured LEDs and rigorous quality control have a significant impact on the final quality not only of the diodes but also of the entire product.
- European design and mechanical manufacturing
Mounting the LEDs directly onto the copper heatsink using modern SMT machines and their correct placement relative to other components influences the product's durability. SMT machines are characterized by a high diode placement speed, which is very important in mass production. However, the most important features are reliability and self-monitoring via macro cameras and magnetic radiation.
- Thermal conductivity
The heat transfer technology, based on Heat Pipe technology and the direct mounting of the diode to the copper without a PCB, ensures the most efficient heat dissipation. Heat transfer flows directly from the diode through the copper core to the strip-shaped copper radiators. All of this has been designed to dissipate accumulated heat as efficiently as possible.
