Our Universal 2C spray paint uses an innovative 2-component system:
The hardening agent is already in the can, which means you can say goodbye to messy mixing. Just pierce the hardening agent cartridge with the push button, shake, and you're done!

Since it's a true two-component paint, the lacquer itself is very hard and resistant: high temperatures, chemicals, corrosion, and salt are no problem. A clear coat isn't needed either. Even hobbyists can achieve a smooth, OEM-like finish thanks to the fine spray pattern, not to mention the satisfaction of doing it themselves.

The Rim 2C spray paint kit includes

3 cans of 400ml Universal 2C spray paint - enough for 4 rims*.
25 masks for use between rims and tires
4 degreasing cleaning wipes
1 pair of disposable protective gloves
a sanding sponge
a high-quality microfiber cloth for cleaning and care
* Sufficient for rim sizes up to a maximum of 18" (depending on the number of spokes and the rim surface, a quarter can may be required for 18")

Application
Remove the wheel, clean the rim and grind it with the supplied abrasive sponge.
Degrease the surface with a cleaning cloth. Insert a card between the rim and the tire.
Apply the Universal 2C spray paint in 2 or 3 thin coats.

Note: The paint is dry and ready for assembly after 24 hours.

Which rims is the Rim 2C spray paint kit suitable for?
It is suitable for both aluminum and steel rims.

What preparations are necessary?
The rims must be thoroughly clean and dry. Rust must be completely removed, for example, with a rotating wire brush for a cordless screwdriver. Next, sand the rim with the included sanding sponge. Now remove the sanding dust and degrease the surface with isopropanol wipes. That's it.

Do I need a primer?
No, basically no primer is needed; sanding and degreasing the substrate is perfectly sufficient.

Do I need a clear lacquer?
No, due to the high-quality properties of the 2C lacquer, a clear lacquer is not needed to protect the surface.

How can I clean and care for newly painted rims?
For the first 7 days, the lacquer coating should not be subjected to extreme stress (high-speed highway driving, hard braking at high speeds, mountain driving). After 7 days, we recommend cleaning with an acid-free wheel cleaner.
