The BASIC SLIM analog ballast, manufactured using semiconductor-transistor technology, is an excellent compromise between analog and digital ballasts with CANbus. This ballast far outperforms conventional analog devices in terms of lifespan and fault-free performance. It is characterized by a low complaint rate. This ballast is equipped with an integrated igniter, a watertight, sealed housing, and a start-up voltage control system that protects the bulb from damage. It is best suited for vehicles manufactured up to and including 2006, as it does not trigger the "bulb-out" error in these vehicles. Full voltage stabilization prevents bulb flickering or sudden shutdown, and interference filters eliminate CB and FM radio interference*. The small size allows installation even under the tightest car hoods.
