The Sparco Prime racing suit is made with the latest high-performance materials and the most advanced manufacturing technology and processes. The Prime uses modified accessories (cuffs, zipper, stretch material, epaulettes, etc.) optimized for weight savings and comfort, making it one of the lightest suits available today. The smallest weight-saving details, such as a lighter zipper, lighter wrists and ankles, neck and shoulders, contribute to reducing weight down to the last gram. Ultra-thin, seamless seams are used on all decorative elements, and finer seams on structural components achieve a flat seam pattern. The floating sleeves and stretch back panels are made from a lightweight, ultra-breathable fabric. The outer layer is a double-sided mesh made from DuPont Nomex® comfort fabric, which contains a high percentage of anti-static fibers that provide extremely effective anti-static properties. Thanks to valuable experience gained in F1, a shoulder pad compatible with FHR devices has been designed to reduce pressure during competition, and integrated handles aid in removal.
